Our 'Manta Ray' Sculpture bowl is made from a rare solid piece of wood saved from urban trees, carefully sourced and hand carved leaving the organic flow of the natural wood.
Handmade using traditional skills. The black colour is from burning the wood, (not colouring as we keep everything sustainable & natural) using a Japanese tradition.
It is multifunctional and can be used as a very large bowl or centre sculpture piece.
Hand finished with a smooth matt on one side, revealing the natural grain and forms of this beautiful wood on the outer side.
